After the successful construction of a proof-of-concept prototype together with Airbus, Lufthansa Technik and other leading companies from the aviation industry, iSAM is currently developing the world’s first industrial system for the automated repair of lightweight composite components.

For the first time, the system allows the repair of components up to 2100 x 1050 x 1600 mm with an accuracy of 0.1 mm as part of a standardized repair process that meets the requirements of MRO operation according to part 145 for commercial aircrafts according to CS-25.
