Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2024

«Actions speak louder than words!»

(Erich Kästner)

In 2023, iSAM AG did not give any Christmas gifts to customers, business partners and employees. We received such positive feedback last year from our decision to donate to charity in lieu of offering our customers Christmas gifts that we have decided to continue the practice this year.

Therefore, we say thank you on behalf of the charities and Merry Christmas!

We support the ecclesiastical social welfare organisation Diakoniewerk Arbeit & Kultur in Mülheim an der Ruhr for the Mülheimer Tafel. The Mülheimer Tafel supplies fresh fruit and bakery products to schools for a „Breakfast at School“ and so allows children who do not get breakfast before leaving home to learn without being hungry.

In Australia, we support again this year the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary which was opened in 1927 as a safe refuge for sick, injured, and orphaned koalas, at a time when the species was being culled for the fur trade. Today, Lone Pine is the world’s oldest and largest koala sanctuary and remains as a destination for local and international guests to not only see native Australian animals, but to also connect and learn, and to leave feeling inspired to make small, positive changes in their daily lives to help protect their own native wildlife and habitats.

The Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary opened their new world-class koala science and research facility, the Brisbane Koala Science Institute, in 2018. The facility is home to two full-time research staff, a research laboratory, and a ‘Koala Biobank’ (koala genetic depository). Through joint projects with universities and other research establishments, the Institute will be working towards real, practical outcomes for local koala populations.

In addition, we support the White Cloud Foundation (WCF), a Queensland-based mental health not-for-profit organisation that provides early intervention services for adults and their families with or at risk of developing depression in its many forms.

Founded in 2011, the WCF acts upon evidence-based research to develop, test and implement a multi-disciplinary approach in the treatment of depression. It believes in easy, early access to professional, evidence-based clinical programs.

We would like to thank all customers, business partners and employees. Without them, these charity actions would not have been possible.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2024 your iSAM team
