Collisions mean high risks in ship loading, because they cause immense costs due to downtime and damage to valuable assets. While conventional ship loaders can stop only critical movements with their simple position sensor systems, the iSAM® advanced anti-collision system is able to identify potential collision hazards in advance. On this basis, complete automation of the loading process is also possible as an optional second step.
