History
In 1983, then EDV Jürgen Hellmich started business with originally 4 employees. First projects focused the use of PLCs (programmable logic controller) in the steel industry.
Two years later, the company was converted to iSAM Hellmich GmbH and in 1993, their merger with software developer inma brought about iSAM-inma Gesellschaft für angewandte Kybernetik mbH. Since that date, iSAM has been offering the complete range of automation services.
Year 2002 saw iSAM´s transformation into a private limited company, thus establishing a solid economic basis for future expansion. However, the majority part of the shares are distributed amongst eight private investors, including the members of the Board of Directors.
